Exercise Tip: Don't Let Asthma Stop Your Outdoor Exercise Routine

Exercising Outdoors with AsthmaWith springtime upon us, many look ahead with excitement to warmer weather, flowers in bloom and more hours of daylight.  But for some, these signs of spring also bring the common frustrations associated with asthma and allergies. This is especially true for people who enjoy exercising outdoors.

David was born with hydrocephalus, a condition that causes excessive accumulation of fluid in the brain. In Davidís case, the fluid put pressure on the optic nerve and caused impaired vision. Since birth, David has been legally blind. He also has mild cerebral palsy that affects his legs, making it difficult to walk long distances.
