We are a federation of more than 50 of the nation's most trusted health charities dedicated to preventing, managing, and/or curing chronic health conditions. 125 million Americans suffer from a chronic health condition or disability; 43 million have multiple chronic health conditions. In addition, employer’s health benefit costs are rising dramatically and 80 percent of those costs are attributed to chronic conditions. In short: Health is important to us all.
