Endometriosis is a painful, chronic disease that affects at least 6.3 million women and girls in the United States. In this episode of the Health Matters at Work video podcast series, our host Jerry Franz met with Mary Lou Ballweg, President and Executive Director of the Endometriosis Association, to talk about what endometriosis is, who is impacted and how the association is helping people affected by this disease. The Endometriosis Association offers many services to help educate and support those affected by this disease, as well as promote and facilitate research leading towards the cause and cure for endometriosis.
