August is Children’s Eye Health and Safety Month In an effort to help put an end to unnecessary vision loss in children, Prevent Blindness America, a member charity of Community Health Charities (CHC), has developed a comprehensive platform on children’s eye health. A detailed strategy has been developed to promote children’s vision and eye health. It also creates a framework for bringing key stakeholder organizations and individuals together to make children’s vision health a national priority.
Community Health Charities has earned the Better Business Bureau Wise Giving Alliance seal. The seal acknowledges that CHC adheres to the Alliance's strong and comprehensive standards.
Supports innovative research to control and cure Cystic Fibrosis. Provides specialized medical care through a nationwide network of centers; offers pharmacy and other patient services.
Chloe was born with Hypoplastic Right Heart Syndrome, maligned AV Canal Defect, Endo Cardio Cushioning Defect, Coarctation of the Aorta, Mitral Valve regurgitation and Tricuspid stenosis. With the help of The Children's Heart Foundation, she is alive and active today.
